Last night Team Rock IT held a Manastorm tournament at QUT Garden’s Point. Rocco and I rocked up suitably pumped for the manliness that can only occur when you conjure a deadly hyperbeam from your own hands. Every single nerd sweat inducing Alienware computer was taken as friends and students blasted each other with fireballs, icicles and bramblebusses (best name ever!). The huge turnout (over 50 people participated) meant that the dudes and dudettes had to be placed into several divisions with the only the top 3 from every match progressing.

It was awesome fun, I made into through to the 3rd round and Rocco got to the 4th. It was great to see strategies and tactics forming as people became more accustomed to the game. I know we all had an awesome time playing a great indie game! Not even the torrential rain that followed could dampen my spirits. Although I did become exceedingly wet.
