Rockin Moses AGM
November 12th, 2011 | Posted by in BlogLast night we held a little AGM (All Gaming Meeting). Peter, Rocco, Jace and I went back to QUT after some alright Mexican food. We had been planning this for a while, just getting together to play some games and discuss the future of Rockin’ Moses.
Well we turned out to be pretty rowdy, with some down to the wire games of The Fifth Suit. We apologise to all of those who were playing League of Legends, we won’t tell if you don’t! We turned our own game on its head by making a informal cooperative mode as the ghosts buddied up with the player who they disliked the least at that time. I have to say we were all pretty impressed with how much fun we got out of a game that we worked for nearly 48 hours straight; you’d think we would be sick of it.
Next up we tried some Cloud 9. It has been a long time since we all played this together we are saw how even in one year we can see how much our skills had improved. Although we were pretty rusty at first but we quickly got back into the swing of things. It brought back a lot of memories and the same rivalries, damn you Jace!
To end the night we played some Sanctum, a great indie FPS-Tower Defence hybrid game. We all had a soft spot for this game because we came across the demo last year while we developing Cloud 9. We played through a few games and eventually worked out an amazing strategy that basically pushed the local wildlife into a shooting gallery. We are immensely sorry for the enjoyment we got from eradicating dancing exotic fauna.
All the games that we played have demos in the links provided, check them out!
